Press Release 30th January 2022 As we have reached the halfway mark of the season the RSA committee & officials feel it is important to remind all competitors & clubs of a few key points. Key Points •
Previously Submitted Nominations:
All nominations and nomination fees already submitted will remain valid for the rescheduled event.
Confirmation Required:
Drivers who wish to compete on the new date must confirm their participation with their club secretary.
Refunds for Non-Participants:
Drivers who cannot or choose not to compete on the rescheduled date will be issued a full nomination fee refund.
Eligibility for Juniors Aging Out:
Drivers who age out of the junior category before March 22nd are ineligible to compete, as per Speedway Australia regulations.

3 qualifying rounds each x 10 laps, Top 18-point scorers from those heats go directly to A-Main Final with top point scorer starting position 1.
Next 18 highest point scorers with the addition of the first 6 place getters from the C Main (if required) will contest a 15 lap B-Main in which the first 6 place getters from the B Main will start rear of A-Main in order of finishing.
C-Main will be of 15 laps and to be run only depending on final nominations.
A-Main Final to be a field of 24 cars and contested over 20 laps. (Subject to changes from promoter)
Tow money – T.B.A. (Dependent on total number of nominations)
Tow money is calculated for the distance from the driver’s home to the track.
Trophies awarded to overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Getters & to top 3 New Stars
12:00pm to 3:00pm – T.B.C. – There will be NO LATE SCRUTINEERING!
Time 4:00pm – All Drivers MUST attend or a penalty may apply!
Racing starts at 5:00 pm.
Nomination Fee – $40 (late nomination fee $80)
Nominations close with the secretary of Racing Sedans Australia no later than 6pm Sunday 9th March, 2025. Drivers nominating and not appearing without notification may be fined. Late nominations will be at the discretion of the Racing Sedans Australia committee and might start rear of heats.
Your nomination is not complete until your nomination fee has been received by the secretary of Racing Sedans Australia by way of cleared payment into the RSA nominated bank account.

Example:
Nominations are open to all currently registered 2024/2025 (Division 3 – Junior Sedan) R.S.A Junior Sedans and other currently registered 2024/2025 Junior Sedans only vehicles that meet and do not exceed the current Specifications of the Racing Sedans Australia Inc. Junior Sedans.
NOTE: Junior Sedan registered vehicles from other associations must be presented and run only to the maximum specification allowance of their respective association’s regulations, AND, if any nominating driver is at all unsure of their vehicle, or any part thereof, meeting and / or exceeding current R.S.A specifications, please contact the R.S.A BEFORE nominating so issue/s may be fully explained and adjudicated on before any possible approval for competition at this event is granted.
NOTE: All Junior Sedan Drivers must hold a current Speedway Australia License /Insurance before nomination will be accepted. Drivers will need to produce License and log book so they can be checked at scrutineering and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Vehicles must adhere to minimum Speedway Australia safety standards and tyres must meet minimum 50 Durometer reading. R.S.A (Div 3 – Junior Sedans)
No Day licenses will be issued or allowed for this meeting. All race gear must adhere to minimum Speedway Australia safety standards.
**Nominating drivers must have clearance from their respective clubs. Clearance will be granted if nominating driver has NO outstanding Fines and / or Suspensions only.
When you complete this form and submit the form it will be automatically sent to the club you nominate in the form for clearance to be granted.
Printed copies of this form will NOT be accepted unless authorized by the RSA or an authorized representative. If you are unable to complete the Online Nomination Form please notify your Club Secretary for further assistance.
DRIVERS PLEASE NOTE: Vehicles may be required to have inspection of motor etc. and / or fuel checked at any time during the course of the meeting and after the final.
Communication from the Steward to Driver will be used and are compulsory!
Transponders are available to hire from the track if required (charges apply)
