M&K Watercart Round One Run and Won!
Tonight saw the running of the first round of this season’s Newcastle Street Stockers Mick Bone Bricklaying Series brought to us by M&K Watercart. A large anxious group of cars took to the Bluevale Road Track at Gunnedah NSW for three heats and a feature. In dry weather, the night saw some fast and close racing as is to be expected when the masters of dirt hit the track. The night went off pretty much without a hitch. Lots of fresh cars and some last season’s rebuilds saw an impressive field of Street Stockers wave the Newcastle flag for a new season.
Past and Present Champions Shine
As the final flag fell for the feature tonight, we saw some familiar car numbers fill the podium places. With Current Australian number 1, Shane Carlson taking the top step. He was followed closely by past Australian #1 Shaun Davoodi and the ever so close current dual State Champion of both NSW and Qld, Brendan Wakeman in for a third.
