Newcastle Street Stockers return to Gunnedah Speedway

Australian Champions past and present, State Champion and more…

On Saturday the 13th of October, Newcastle Street Stockers will take to the track to begin yet another season of fast close racing living up to the tradition they started over 35 years ago! The M&K Watercart Round one of the Mick Bone Bricklaying Series, will be battled out by a huge field of more than 22 cars including the current Australian Champion, Shane Carlson and past Australian Champion, Shaun Davoodi and dual State Champion, Brendan Wakeman, all competing for the first chequer flag to fall in Season 2018 – 2019.

Huge Feild of both Youth and Experience

When experienced Drivers like David Hollier and Brendan Myers go head to head with the youthful energies of Max Cotton and Matt Ryan engines will raw and the mud will fly as the bring the Gunnedah track to life. David and Andrew from Fullers Racing and the Cartwright brothers Ben and Tim will do their best to head up this pack of excited masters of dirt. A huge field, too many to name them all.

Even the Sponsors get Involved!

Mick Bone from Mick Bone Bricklaying, the 2018-2019 Series Sponsor and Mark Eveleigh from the Round one sponsor M&K Watercart will be on the track both trying to win the prize and grab the fame and the glory. While the Newcastle Street Stockers Club president, Brad Ring will make an appearance to lead his members out to play on the Blue Vale Road oval.

Not Just Stockers

NSSC is more than just RSA Street Stockers. On Saturday night the club will field its first RSA Outlaw Sedan when Ken Murray joins in with the RSA Outlaw Sedans at Gunnedah. RSA Junior Sedan drivers Millie Fuller, Luke Eveleigh and Noah Douglas will join the pack with the RSA Junior Sedans also on the night’s program.
