Terms and Conditions

RACE ROUND TO BE HELD AT:

  • Gunnedah Speedway – 384 Blue Vale Rd, Gunnedah NSW 2380

DATE:

  •  Sunday, 9th June 2024

PIT ENTRY:

  • Pit Entry – $50 

PIT GATES OPEN.

  • 10:00am

RACE FORMAT:

3 qualifying rounds each x 10 laps, Top 18-point scorers from those heats go directly to A-Main Final with top point scorer starting position 1.

Next 18 highest point scorers with the addition of the first 6 place getters from the C Main (if required) will contest a 15 lap B-Main in which the first 6 place getters from the B Main will start rear of A-Main in order of finishing.

C-Main will be of 15 laps and to be run only depending on final nominations.

A-Main Final to be a field of 24 cars and contested over 30 laps. (Subject to changes from promoter)

PRIZE MONEY:

  • 1st Place – $1000
  • 2nd Place – $700
  • 3rd Place  – $500
  • 4th to 24th – $50

TOW MONEY:

  • T.B.A

TROPHIES:

Trophies awarded to: 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

SCRUTINEERING:

  • T.B.C.
  • Between 10:30am – 1:30pm – There will be NO LATE SCRUTINEERING!

DRIVERS' BRIEFING:

  • Time:  2:30pm  –  All Drivers MUST attend or penalty may apply! 

RACING FROM:

  • Racing from 3:00pm

NOMINATION FEE:

  • Nomination Fee – $60

To be paid to Racing Sedans Australia Inc.

Nominations close with the secretary of Racing Sedans Australia no later than 6:00pm Sunday 26th May 2024. Drivers nominating and not appearing without notification may be fined.
Late nominations will be accepted but might be required to start rear of heats.

NOMINATION FEE PAYMENT:

Your nomination is not complete until your nomination fee has been received by the secretary of Racing Sedans Australia by way of cleared payment into the RSA nominated bank account.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

Nominations are open to all currently registered 2023-2024 (Division 2) R.S.A Fender Bender Division Two. 

NOTE: All Drivers must hold a current Speedway Australia License/Insurance before nomination will be accepted. Licenses will be checked at scrutineering. No Day licenses will be issued or allowed for this meeting. Vehicles must adhere to minimum Speedway Australia safety standards.

**Nominating drivers must have clearance from their respective clubs. Clearance will be granted if nominating driver has NO outstanding Fines and / or Suspensions only. 

When you complete this form and submit the form it will be automatically sent to the club you nominate in the form for clearance to be granted.

Printed copies of this form will NOT be accepted unless authorized by the RSA or an authorized representative. If you are unable to complete the Online Nomination Form please notify your Club Secretary for further assistance.

TRANSPONDERS:

Transponders are compulsory at Lockyer Valley  Speedway. For anyone who needs them, they can be hired on the day at the track for $30 from the Lockyer Valley Speedway Club.

RACESCEIVERS (ONE-WAY COMMUNICATORS):

Communication from the Steward to Driver will be used and are compulsory!

These details are required to pay tow money, prize money and to issue refunds where applicable. N.B. The collection and storage of your bank details are voluntary and will not affect the acceptance of your nomination. However, not granting consent will result in any monies to be paid to you by the Association being done so by cheque and will slow the processing and transfer times in this case.

Conditions of Nomination

Mechanical Compliance.
It is a Drivers responsibility to make sure that his/ her car and all the internal and external engine components meet the specifications of the Division. All pre and post vehicle scrutineering inspections will be performed by person/s authorized by the RSA Executive. If any car fails, the after-race specification inspection the driver will be fined/suspended and/or disqualified from this event under Speedway Australia’s Racing Rules & Regulations. All placings are preliminary until final inspection clearances are given. **Subject to any unforeseen circumstances or necessary requirements, the Terms and Conditions contained within may be subject to change at any time at the discretion of the R.S.A Executive

RSA head gasket refund policy:
If the vehicle is found to comply with RSA specifications for the division after post-race scrutineering the RSA will either:
a). Directly pay for OEM or standard after-market equivalent parts from an RSA nominated supplier, or
b). Provide a refund that is equivalent to the RSA’s cost for supplying replacement parts.
NO REFUNDS will be paid for any vehicle that is found to be in breach of RSA Specifications for the division.
